Most Expensive Christmas Trees in the World

A 19-foot fir strung with pink, red, white, and black diamonds at Kempinski Hotel Bahia near Marbella, Spain is the most expensive Christmas tree in the world, valued at US$15 million. The second is Emirates Palace hotel’s Christmas tree, holding 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires, and other precious stones, with a value of over US$11 million. 
 
The Kempinski Hotel Bahia near Marbella, Spain first revealed its decadently decorated tree last Christmas. The total cost of the tree was valued at US$15 million. Perhaps the most extravagant is a US$5.5 million red oval diamond, a 3-carat pink diamond ornament worth $2.6 million; nine 3-carat black diamond decorations worth US$590,000; as well as fake $1 million and $100,000 bills embossed with 24-karat gold reportedly worth US$1.3 million.
 
The 13-meter faux evergreen, located in the Emirates Palace hotel is decorated with silver and gold bows, ball-shaped ornaments, and small white lights. However, the necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry draped around the tree’s branches are what give it a record value and make it the second most expensive Christmas tree in the world. It holds a total of 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires, and other precious stones. The total estimated cost is US$ 11.4 million. 
 
The Japanese jeweler Ginza Tanka has created the world’s one of the most expensive Gold Christmas trees complete with a Disney motif with a price tag of US$4.2 million. The tree was made of pure gold (40kg) and stands 2.4 meters high and 1.2 meters in diameter.  It is adorned with 50 gold Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and Tinker Bell along with ribbons made of gold leaf.  It took its creators two months to finish.
A 50-foot Hong Kong Swarovski crystal Christmas tree sparkling with millions of Swarovski gold and silver crystals brought all the way from Austria, is estimated at US$ 1.8 million. 
 
Takashimaya Department Store’s preserved rose mini Christmas tree is estimated at US$ 1.8 million. The 40 cm tabletop Christmas trees are made from preserved flowers and decorated with 400 diamonds. 
 
Ginza Tanaka Jewelry Shop’s tabletop tree is valued at US$ 1.8 million. A Japanese manufacturer of precious metals Ginza Tanaka took center stage a second time with a 200 cm Christmas tree crafted out of shimmering 42 lbs of pure 24-carat gold processed into thin golden wires. Commemorating the shop’s 90th anniversary, the luxury tree was seen as a way to spread Christmas cheer—in Japan. 
 
The seventh most expensive Christmas tree was located at Bugis Junction, a shopping mall in Singapore. A diamond Christmas tree, worth the US $1,005,000 was produced by Soo Kee Jewellery, decking it with 21,798 diamonds (913 carats total), 3,762 crystal beads, and 456 lights. The tree is nearly 20 feet tall and weighs in at over 7,000 pounds. 
 
Steve Quick has designed one of the world’s most expensive Christmas trees for the advantage of the American Cancer Society. The Chicago jewelers beautified it with 18 carats of solid gold. It also featured several ornaments made from platinum toppers and diamonds. The value of the tree was projected US$500, 000.
