“Mtevino” achieved a 75% annual occupancy rate in 2025, marking a successful year for the hospitality and tourism business, according to company director Keti Khvedelidze. She told BM.GE that the strong performance was driven by expanded infrastructure, including a newly built swimming pool that performed well throughout the season.
Khvedelidze said the property hosted both local and international guests, with most foreign visitors coming from European countries such as Austria and the United Kingdom. The company also added two new cottages this year and plans to increase its total capacity to 10 cottages and five main rooms in the coming months.
High visitor activity continued into the autumn season, supported by wine tastings, masterclasses and excursions organized by Mtevino, which boosted tourist interest and occupancy.
The company invested around 500,000 GEL in development in 2025 and adjusted prices by approximately 20%. Weekend rates for a double room with breakfast now stand at 210 GEL, while weekday prices are 180 GEL.
Looking ahead, Mtevino plans further expansion in 2026, including a children’s play area and a padel court, though final investment figures are yet to be determined. The hotel and winery complex is located in the village of Kashmi in the Sagarejo district.
