The Georgian company Muline, a manufacturer of silk scarves, is working on setting up a sales space. Its founder Mako Imedashvili talks about the brand's future plans with BM.GE.

"We founded the brand about a year ago. Our main niche is silk scarves and tablecloths made on traditional Georgian motifs. At the moment, we have about 40 of our own designs, but we also work on personal and corporate orders. At this stage, scarves are only sold online. In the near future, we want to have our own stand or shop in some mall, and we are already working in this direction", says Mako Imedashvili.

According to the founder, Muline plans to increase exports in 2023, as there is a high demand for Georgian-themed scarves from foreigners. As Mako Imedashvili notes, their scarves are already exported to the USA and France, while the company plans to expand and increase the exports.

Muline employs 4-5 people at this stage and produces over 500-1000 pieces of scarves per month, while the brand can increase the production capacity up to 5,000 in the case of high demand.
