Beka Lilulashvili, a member of the political party “Gakharia For Georgia“ announced that he is leaving politics to focus on the private sector. Posting on his personal Facebook page, he shared that he will continue his work in the fields of technology, digital transformation, finance, and economics, although he did not specify exactly where he will take on these new roles.
“After many years in public politics, with the arrival of the New Year, I am publicly closing this important chapter of my life and plan to continue my professional activities in the private sector,” Lilulashvili wrote. He expressed gratitude for the experience, responsibility, and trust he gained during his years in public service and thanked those who supported him along the way. “These years taught me more than I imagined—about the country, the people, and myself,” he added.
Lilulashvili emphasized that his professional focus has now shifted to the private sector, particularly technology, digital transformation, finance, and economics. He believes that long-term, sustainable change comes through building strong companies and supporting sectors that drive economic development.
He also stressed that leaving politics does not mean abandoning public interest. “This value remains the cornerstone of my work, and I will always fight for the interests of our state and society,” he wrote. Lilulashvili concluded by thanking everyone who accompanied him on this journey and noting that a new stage of his life is beginning.
