Vladimer Chachibaia, a member of Georgian Dream, says he wants to leave the Parliament.

According to Chachibaia, the decision not to vote for the so-called agents' draft law does not give him "the right or opportunity" to remain in the Parliament.

"I don't think I was ready for parliamentary life. You know I was in the army for 30 years. My personal desire is to leave the Parliament, but at the same time, I remain a loyal member of our party. My personal desire is to leave the mandate because I think I may realize myself more in the public service or any other service than in the parliamentary life. In addition, I think that the decision taken by me does not give me the right or the opportunity to stay in the Parliament, I mean my decision not to vote for the so-called agents' draft law," he said.

According to him, he had communication with the party, but the issue needs additional consideration.

"I will leave my mandate and leave the Parliament, although I will talk to the party leadership for the final decision, but my personal and persistent request is that this issue be resolved positively. I had communication, everyone knows my position, but let's see if there is something else that needs additional consideration," Chachibaia told Formula TV.
