Bread production company "Mzetamze - Gemovani Bread" is planning to launch a bread production technology training course this year. Co-founder of the company, Irakli Chavleishvili, told BM.GE about this.

As Chavleishvili noted, in response to the lack of personnel in the sector, the company decided to offer long and short-term training courses to all interested persons, which will be held in the newly retooled enterprise. At the moment, repair works are underway in the enterprise.

"There is such a big problem of personnel in the sector that we decided to bring people who are interested in baking bread to the enterprise and give them the necessary education.

We make sure that people test themselves in the actual production process, be it theoretical or practical experience. In addition, we will create a standard for baking bread. The duration of the course does not exceed 3 months and we will retrain 20-30 people the first time", Chavleishvili says.

He also noted that after the retooling of the enterprise, it is planned to bake about 1,500 loaves of bread per hour, the investment volume amounts to $300,000.

The company "Mzetamze" was established on the market in 2015. The price of 0.5 kg of premium quality bread made with natural yeast is from GEL 3.50 to GEL 5.

Currently, the company employs more than 50 people.
