Greek yogurt producer Namieri plans to expand production, enter major retail chains and launch new products, founder Natalia Jariashvili told BM.GE. The company entered the market around five months ago and currently operates a facility in Digomi.
Namieri uses natural Georgian milk sourced from local farmers. Its yogurt is made without additives, preservatives or sugar and has a high protein content. The company is also preparing new branding and packaging for its retail expansion.
Jariashvili said production capacity is expected to increase by 30–50% over the next six months, followed by another 50–70% expansion within a year. The goal is to supply products more widely across Georgia.
The company was initially financed entirely by the founders and continues to fund its development with its own resources. Namieri currently employs around 10 people, sells online and through Agrohub and several small Tbilisi retailers, and is also holding talks about potential exports.
