Local meat producer company Native Racha plans to expand production from spring 2022 along with the increase in sales.
The company's founder Vasil Babluani cannot specify the investment volume for the expansion project and says that works are underway on a production growth plan.
"Native Racha sales are three-fold up now. Today, the company is a leader in the traditional ready-to-eat products market in both HORECA and the retail sector. Today the demand for the product is quite high, that’s why we plan to increase production. Works on the expansion of production has begun. After the launch of the new project, our goal is to produce 7 to 10 tons of products per month," said Vasil Babluani.
Today, 30 people work at the Native Racha plant in Ambrolauri. The company produces up to 15 tons of ready-to-eat meat products per month. Native Racha locally produced meat products have not become more expensive and names several factors for this.
"There is no production of such ready-to-eat-meat products in Georgia, therefore we have no competitor on the local market, while the cost of imported products such as ham is 2-3 times higher than the cost of our product. Taking into account all the factors, Native Racha has not increased the price of meat products," - explains the founder of the company.
