NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will embark on a tour of several countries in the region from March 17 to 19, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. This was announced on the official NATO website.
Stoltenberg will start his journey in Azerbaijan, after which he will arrive in Tbilisi, Georgia, on March 18. Meetings with President Salome Zourabichvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze are planned.
On March 19, the Secretary General will travel to Yerevan from Tbilisi.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ani Badalyan, confirmed the information about Stoltenberg's planned visit to Yerevan on March 19.
