NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina will visit Georgia on October 19-20 “to identify ways to further enhance NATO’s engagement in the Caucasus.”
In addition, the Special Representative of the Secretary General of NATO will visit the occupation line and get acquainted with the situation on the ground.
As part of the visit, Javier Colomina will hold meetings with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and members of the civil society, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
