Natural gas transit has increased in the corridor of Georgia.
In 2023, natural gas of 23.780 billion cubic meters was supplied through two existing pipelines in the country, which was 1.4 billion cubic meters or 6.3% compared to 2022.
In 2010, only 5.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas was transported through the pipelines passing through Georgia.
In 2023, 21.420 billion cubic meters of gas passed through the "Southern Gas Corridor" pipeline, while 2.360 billion cubic meters through the North-South Caucasus gas pipeline.
