Exports of fruit and vegetable juices have hit a historic high over the past 10 years.
According to official statistics from the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in the first 11 months of this year, the country earned USD 18.7 million from the exports of 12,628 tons of natural juices. This is 10% more in volume than in the same period last year, and a 27.6% increase in value. More specifically, Georgia sold 11,470 tons of fruit and vegetable juices worth USD 14.6 million last year.
Over the past 10 years, the country sold the least amount of natural juices in 2016. In 2016, Georgia exported 4,461 tons of natural juices worth USD 5.1 million.
This year, the main export market for Georgia is the United States, where 2,840 juices worth USD 4.2 million were exported in 11M24. Exports increased in particular markets compared to the same period last year, a 44.5% increase in volume and a 57.1% increase in revenue are recorded.
