Natia Turnava, Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), met Alexander Dzneladze, President of the Banking Association and heads of the Association’s member commercial banks.
The meeting addressed the ongoing processes in the banking sector and facing challenges.
“Our banking system is rather strong, low-risk and resistant to shocks. However, in light of the increased geopolitical risks, we want to make sure once again that banks are ready to deal with any external shocks,” Natia Turnava said.
Alexander Dzneladze said the Association would continue to work with the NBG to focus on acute issues and set plans.
