According to data from the Revenue Service, 988,852 individuals in Georgia received salaries in September 2025. Among them, 286 employees earned more than GEL 100,000 during the month, with their combined income exceeding GEL 125.9 million, including taxes.
At the same time, the number of low-income earners remains high. The statistics show that 10,516 people received salaries below GEL 100, with a total payout of GEL 565,554 distributed among them.
The largest group of employees, 343,610 people, earned between GEL 1,200 and GEL 2,400 in September. Their total pre-tax income exceeded GEL 600 million.
Additionally, 165,651 employees received salaries ranging from GEL 2,400 to GEL 3,600, collectively earning GEL 478.3 million before taxes.
The data highlights both the continued income disparity and the concentration of salaries in the mid-income range in Georgia’s labor market.
