International coffee brands Nescafé and Jacobs have published their 2024 financial results for their Georgian subsidiaries. According to the reports, Nestlé Georgia, which distributes the Nescafé brand, generated GEL 70.8 million in total revenue last year, GEL 4 million less than in 2023. Of this, GEL 15 million came directly from coffee sales.
Jacobs Douwe Egberts LLC, the Georgian representative of the Jacobs brand, reported an income of GEL 74.4 million in 2024, marking a GEL 18 million increase year-on-year. The company’s net profit reached GEL 5.8 million, significantly higher than Nestle Georgia’s GEL 2 million profit.
In addition to Jacobs, Jacobs Douwe Egberts LLC distributes several well-known brands in Georgia, including Carte Noire, Maxwell House, L’OR, and Pickwick Tea. The group continues to strengthen its presence in the local market with an expanding portfolio of international beverage brands.
The competition between Nestle Georgia and Jacobs Douwe Egberts remains strong, as both companies maintain leading positions in Georgia’s fast-growing coffee segment, one of the most dynamic categories in the country’s consumer goods market.
