Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced that a new recreational space will be created in Zahesi, near 12 Tavisupleba Street, covering an area of 2,500 sq.m. The project’s budget is approximately 600,000 GEL.
The park will feature rolled lawns, trees and plants, a children’s playground, a fitness area, outdoor lighting, and an irrigation system, along with other necessary infrastructure to make the space fully functional.
Kaladze emphasized that the project will be implemented with resident participation and input, and that the municipality will cover all costs for removing illegal garages and fences.
The mayor also highlighted the importance of greening residential areas and public spaces at the neighborhood level, noting that this project is part of that broader effort.
