Political parties will no longer be required to report information on donations and membership fees to the Anti-Corruption Bureau within 5 working days. Under the amended Law “On Political Unions of Citizens,” parties must now submit this information by the 15th of the month following the reporting month.
This change is part of a broader legislative package that includes the abolition of the Special Investigation Service and the transfer of its functions to the Prosecutor’s Office. As a result, amendments are being made to 20 laws, including the one governing political unions.
Parliament reviewed the amendment today in a second hearing, discussing each article in detail.
