According to the information provided by the Head of the Revenue Service Giorgi Tabuashvili, the primary document of the new Tax and Customs Codes will be ready in fall. Tabuashvili discussed this issue in Sakmis Kursi TV show. “The work on Customs Code is more advances, the primary version of the draft is ready. Internal discussions on it are ongoing and we will soon present it to the society. We think that by fall, both drafts will be ready,” – stated Tabuashvili.
Amendments to the Tax Code were announced by the new Prime minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze. In the course of the procedures of appointing the new government, he stated that the current code is outdated and needs to be amended.
