A new air company Air Iveria, will start operating on the Georgian market in 2024. The global company Airbus, has already expressed its desire for commercial cooperation with the airline. As AIR IVERIA notes, a strategic development plan will be developed, which will include an operational model as well.
As for the flights, the co-founder of the Air Iveria told BMG, that the air company will offer flights from the capital city of Tbilisi at more optimal hours of the day. However, he does not name specific directions yet.
According to Irakli Giorgobiani, the airline will start operating with 3 or 4 planes, for which an investment of €20 million is planned at the initial stage.
Irakli Giorgobiani notes that AIR IVERIA will not be a low-cost air company, but loyal customers will be able to fly at a fairly low price.
"We will be different in quality of service and products, so the price will be affordable. Our customers will be not only citizens of Georgia, but also foreign visitors. Our product will be compatible, on the one hand, for European customers, as well as for Georgians. Regarding flight frequencies, we want to take advantage of the time of day to fly comfortably and spend less time in transit," says the co-founder of AIR IVERIA.
According to the founder of Air Iveria, it is planned to fully utilize the transit potential.
