New tourist facility, Glamping Sairme Gate, has been opened in the village of Dapenili in Bagdati Municipality. As the founder of the facility, Giorgi Chachua, told BM.GE, the tourist destination has been operating near the Sairme Gorge for about a month. The opening of the facility required an investment of GEL 100,000.
"At this stage, one glamping can accommodate 4 people. In the future, we plan to add three more glamping sites, which already have the approval of the local government," said Giorgi Chachua.
The facility with unique views is located on a mountain slope, near the river. This season, glamping accommodation costs an average of 300 GEL, although prices will change depending on the season and the number of guests.
Currently, there is no catering service at Sairme Gate, although, as Chachua notes, there are already catering facilities near the facility, with which he plans to cooperate from spring.
“We have already had both local guests, as well as tourists from Europe, in particular from France. Currently, the facility is 30%-loaded and we already have reservations for February,” Chachua said.
It is worth noting that the glamping is equipped with modern technologies, the functions of which are designed on the principle of a “smart home”.
“Our tourist facility is sophisticated and has “smart” technologies, including automatic door and lighting systems,” notes Giorgi Chachua.
The founder of the new tourist attraction also says that he plans to develop Sairme Gate into a tourist complex in the future.
