In the 1-21 August period, new mortgage issuances declined compared to the previous year’s indicator and growth totaled -3% YoY, - according to the report published by TBC Capital.
As of the document, in the 1-18 August period, residential property transactions in Tbilisi marginally slowed down and growth amounted to +23% YoY.
The growth of non-cash spending in hotels, through TBC Bank’s channels, marginally decreased and amounted to 74% compared to 2019 (+37% YoY).
Growth of non-cash spending in restaurants remained almost unchanged with growth totaling 129% relative to 2019 (+57% YoY).
