Nika Nikolashvili, the founder of children's clothing manufacturer company "Nikoli" declares, that they will work to establish on the Chinese market in 2025. According to him, the company has great potential in China.
"A reliable partner always had been the main challenge in terms of exports, to whom we could send all collections annually. The main focus in 2024 was the Chinese market; we met a Chinese partner at a European exhibition who placed our product on the online sales platform TaoBao. Then we decided to try our chances in the Chinese market ourselves and participated in an exhibition. The response turned out to be better than expected.
There is an opinion that the Chinese market is already diverse and we won't be able to offer them anything new. However, it turned out to be completely opposite - our product received a very good evaluation and we have the ambition to enter the Chinese market even more. This year's plans include starting our own sales in the Chinese market - the potential is quite large," - Nikolashvili said.
The founder of "Nikoli" notes that the brand will also actively participate in European exhibitions.
Speaking about last year's results, Nika Nikolashvili noted that brand sales increased, but the ongoing political crisis in the country had its impact on business.
"In 2024, we had growth in both retail and corporate directions, though expectations were slightly higher. External factors still had an impact, we all remember how the processes were at the beginning of the year, the situation worsened even more at the end of the year, which had its impact on us. Overall, we still evaluate the year positively. Growth in retail sales was 15%, while in corporate direction - 20%" - said the founder of "Nikoli".
Children's clothing manufacturer company "Nikoli" has been operating in the local market since 2017 and creates clothing for children aged 1 to 10 years. The company is represented by three branches in Tbilisi and one in Batumi.
