Nikora Trade has officially started building what will become Georgia’s largest logistics center, spanning 43,000 m² near Tbilisi airport. The project, announced by CEO Irakli Bokholishvili, is expected to be completed in two years, featuring fully automated warehouse management systems and advanced technology to optimize product handling.

To ensure a smooth launch, Nikora is testing the system in a smaller 8,000 m² warehouse, refining automated processes including FIFO inventory management, which will allow the program to manage product movement without manual intervention.

The logistics center follows the recent opening of a GEL 45 million, 6,000 m² meat processing plant, equipped with energy-efficient equipment, solar panels, and RFID systems. The new plant, the largest in the South Caucasus, will expand production of premium, smoked, and dry-aged meat products, with six climate-controlled chambers capable of producing 30 tons per month.

Funding for the logistics center comes from Nikora’s 2025 bond issuance, totaling GEL 120 million in two tranches of GEL 60 million, fully directed toward the center’s construction.
