Nino Zautashvili has been appointed as the new director of the online media outlet On.ge.
In an interview with Mediachecker, Zautashvili confirmed her decision to take on the role, noting the significant challenges facing modern media, particularly in Georgia:
“I agreed to this offer. The media of the 21st century has quite big challenges, and in our country, new laws adopted against the backdrop of mass protests add to this. However, there is a good team, good ideas, and I hope we will cope. A completely new and interesting path is beginning for me, and one thing I know for sure is that I will approach the matter with full responsibility.
On.ge will develop various and very interesting directions. I hope we will succeed" , - she said.
Zautashvili a former host of TV program “Real Space” before being dismissed from the Georgian Public Broadcaster in April this year.
