Georgian winery Noe’s Wine is preparing to enter international markets as it expands its organic wine business and strengthens its presence among foreign buyers, according to company director Khatia Magradze.
The winery has been developing organic viticulture since 2008 and operates as a certified organic producer. Magradze said the company undergoes regular inspections by certification body Caucascert and considers organic production a key competitive advantage, particularly for European and U.S. markets.
Noe’s Wine produces several organic wines, including an amber qvevri wine made from a blend of five endemic Kakhetian grape varieties: Mtsvane, Kisi, Khikhvi, Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri Mtsvane. The company recently showcased its products at industry exhibitions, where it received positive feedback and established contacts with potential international partners.
Magradze said export negotiations are already underway and tasting events have been held with prospective buyers. The winery also plans to plant new vineyards to expand its product range, while maintaining its focus on qvevri wines, which it sees as its strongest differentiator. The company intends to participate in additional international exhibitions as part of its export growth strategy.
