Georgian Poultry Production (GPP), which is positioned on the market under the "Noste" brand, will double its production in 2023. The maximum capacity of the company is currently 3,000 tons of chicken meat. The company employs 400 people in poultry farming.
The head of the company Giorgi Pirtskhalaishvili talks about the business development, but he does not spesify the investment volume spent on the expanding of the farm. The new facility will be put into operation in Metekhi village of Kaspi municipality from spring.
"In 2023, the company "GPP" plans to complete the new, large and complex enterprise in Metekhi, which will be fully operational from spring. This will increase our production two folds", says Pirtskhalaishvili.
The company plans to add about 10-15 stores this year in accordance with the increased production. According to the executive director of "Noste", today "GPP" manages about 60 "Noste" stores in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Mtskheta and Kutaisi, and this year it plans to import products and open stores in Batumi as well.
Giorgi Pirtskhalaishvili notes that their main challenge in 2022 was the high demand for "Noste" products, which the company did not lag behind and successfully coped with the pace of development.
