According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration, number of visitors increased by 10.7% YoY in July 2018. Number of tourists (staying more than one day) and same day trips went up by 15.0% and 3.0% YoY respectively.
From the perspective of country groups, number of visitors went up from EU (+43.9% YoY), CIS (+7.5% YoY) and other countries (+12.3% YoY). Growth of visitors from other countries was mostly driven by increasing number of visitors from Turkey and Israel.
