One in three citizens, surveyed by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) declares, that they often struggled to buy food in the last 12 months.
To the question, how often did it happen that they did not have enough money to buy food in the last 12 months, 39% of surveyed citizens declare that they never had a such case, 30% - every month or more often, 29% - less often than every month, 1% responded, that they did not know.
The poll was conducted between July 14 - August 15, through face-to-face interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories. The August poll included 2,104 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 2 percent.
