Open Builders, the creators behind Notcoin, in collaboration with DOGS Community, are set to launch a Telegram - native sticker platform. This initiative draws inspiration from Pavel Durov'sannouncement at Token 2049, where he outlined plans to tokenise stickers and emojis on Telegram using TON blockchain. The sticker platform will provide a straightforward way for users to buy, collect, and exchange unique sticker packs, focusing on ownership and utility.
"Over 500B stickers are sent monthly by users on Telegram. Tokenized stickers are the new mass adoption meta,” – stated Sasha Plotvinov, Founder of Open Builders&Notcoin.
Open Builder’s sticker platform offers limited-edition sticker packs, such as the 'King Dogs' series, which is capped at 10,000 stickers. Once a series sells out, users can trade their stickers on platforms like Getgems. Currently, the platform features exclusive limited-edition collections, including collaborations with Pudgy Penguins, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Flappy Bird.
Exclusively for the launch, Blum, the leading trading app on Telegram, will roll out its own stickers series.
Pudgy Penguins, the second-largest NFT project, is launching its own token, PENGU, on the Solana blockchain today and is conducting an airdrop. The launch has been supported by major cryptocurrency exchanges, and in the last month, sales of the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection have increased by over 1000 percent. The Bored Ape Yacht Club collection has also seen a 50.05 percent increase in its floor price, reaching 18.45 ETH.
At launch, the stickers will be purchased with Telegram’s native currency – Stars. $DOGS team will introduce an option to pay for their limited collection with $DOGS token currently listed on most major crypto exchanges.
