Startup "Chizzy" which produces semi-baked frozen Adjarian khachapuri (a traditional Georgian dish of cheese-filled bread) will launch an enterprise adjusted to European standards late in 2023, the founder of the company, Natia Jguburia, told BM.GE, noting that they also plan to produce the cheese needed for khachapuri themselves.

According to her, the reason for opening the enterprise is the introduction of international standards. The founder of Chizzy declares, that the company is not focused on the local market.

"We must launch the enterprise by the end of 2023, we have been working on this issue for a long time. Now we need to attract investments, we are looking for an investor because this project involves quite large funds. After the completion of this project, we will be able to export and produce the required quantity, we are receiving a lot of demand from Israel, Poland, and Japan," said Natia Jguburia.

As for the Georgian market, the founder of "Chizzi" says that the sales keep a stable trend in the local market.

"In the Georgian market, it is possible to buy our products in Agrohub, Goodwill, Tserti, Moitane.ge and our personal website. There is quite a lot of interest, it depends on periods, but it is stable. Now, we think to open a small cafe-shop, where we will have hot Adjarian Khachapuri, there is a demand for it," explains Dzguburia.
