One of the oldest brands in Georgia, "Lagidze Waters" has an updated logo and a new business development plan. Tinatin Lagidze, chairman of the supervisory board of "Lagidze" joint-stock company spoke to bm.ge about the details of the logo and brand renewal.
"Mitropane Lagidze ordered the logo to Diego Zaziashvili, a very famous artist at that time, and in 4 years, after the establishment of the brand, there was already this extraordinary logo of high artistic value. As you know, Soviet times distorted everything, they damaged individualism and destroyed the aesthetics. Sometimes the logo was removed and the product was sold in a facelifted form.
Now, we ordered the renewal of the logo to a young group, for which it was a big challenge, but they did an extraordinary job. The history, tradition, slogan and all the aspects should be taken into account. The main thing now is that the customer likes it," Tinatin Lagidze said, adding that the company's products are currently sold in about 100 food outlets.
"We enter a lot of cafes and the interest is growing even more. Today, Lagidze Waters are represented in over a hundred food establishments," said Tinatin Lagidze.
According to her, after the rebranding, the company plans many activities, including export, although the management does not want to talk about the details in advance.
