According to the Revenue Service, more than 1.57 million Georgian citizens are currently included in the national database restricting access to gambling and betting activities.
The agency maintains two separate registries - a list of restricted persons and a list of “dependent persons” - which together form the country’s gambling exclusion system.
As of 2026, 41,042 individuals are registered in the “dependent persons” list under stricter online gambling regulations. The vast majority - 40,978 people - have voluntarily requested to restrict their own access to gambling services.
Only 64 individuals were added through court decisions, following requests from family members and judicial rulings aimed at protecting vulnerable persons. The Revenue Service noted that all entries apply exclusively to Georgian citizens.
Citizens can self-register through remote identification on the Revenue Service website, via their personal online account, or by visiting service centers across the country, as part of broader measures aimed at preventing gambling addiction and reducing social and financial risks.
