Around $150 million (59 billion drams) has been allocated for the development of community infrastructure in Armenia in 2024 as part of the state subsidy program. This was announced by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, on his Facebook page.
According to the minister, approximately $80.7 million (31.8 billion drams) was provided from the state budget. Communities contributed $65 million (25.6 billion drams) from their own budgets, while other investors invested $4.1 million (1.6 billion drams).
The minister noted that the total funding exceeds the 2023 figure by $2.5 million (1 billion drams). The program aims to ensure balanced and sustainable development across all settlements in the republic.
