A total of 316 heat supply facilities affected by Russian attacks have already been restored in Ukraine, which is 53.3% of the total number of damaged objects.
The relevant statement was made by Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, following a meeting of the Headquarters on Preparations for the Autumn and Winter Period, which was chaired by Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov.
“Despite continuous shelling, Ukraine has started the heating season: 99.7% of boiler facilities were launched; 99.6% of residential houses, 97.9% of kindergartens, 98.9% of schools and 99.9% of health facilities were provided with heating services,” the report states.
Special efforts are now focused on establishing the operation of heat generating facilities within the liberated areas of the Kharkiv region and the Kherson region, where the situation with access to communications is remaining challenging, Ukrinform reports.
