Two new brands, Bijou Brigitte and Inditex are entering Georgia, while another brand Parfois is returning back to the market, - according to Rezo Magalashvili, Director of Retail Group Georgia.

Retail Group Georgia today includes 22 brands and 52 stores in the Georgian market and actively continues its development in the post-pandemic period.

One of the new brands of "Retail Group Georgia" will be Bijou Brigitte. In addition, by the end of this year, the company will introduce Georgian customers to Inditex. It should be noted that Inditex is starting to operate throughout the Caucasus for the first time.

"Georgia is a fascinating, but small market. In order to interest world brands, we offer their development in the Caucasus and Central Asian countries together with Georgia. This gives us a big advantage over smaller retailers who can only offer the local market," he says.

Rezo Magalashvili also talked about the sales recovery rate in the post-pandemic period. According to his assessment, "the dynamics of recovery is sharp" and in the last six months, it has even surpassed the pandemic rate.

As for the price policy, Retail Group Georgia manages to maintain product prices at the old level at the expense of the national currency exchange rate.

"The pandemic has created many difficulties, but the challenges have taught us many new things and now the company is as strong as ever. Since September of last year, when the restrictions were completely lifted, the dynamics have improved dramatically. In the last 6 months, trade has surpassed the pre-pandemic level. The pandemic has also led to the development of e-commerce. Our customers can buy Zara, Massimo Dutti and now Bershka online. A number of brands are also placed on the ShopShop platform. Naturally, online sales have even more potential. In the next 18 months, we expect all our brands to be present on online platforms", - said Rezo Magalashvili.

"Retail Group Georgia" is operating in the Georgian market for 11 years.
