The Committees of the Parliament will discuss the changes to the State Budget 2021 today. The decision was adopted at the bureau session held on July 6.
The final session of the Budget and Finance Committee will be held on July 15, where the conclusion of the State Audit and the National Bank will be heard, and on July 23 the budget will be discussed and voted on at the extraordinary session of the Parliament.
The government is raising the economic growth forecast to 7.7%. The current budget expenditures will increase by 1.1 billion GEL and it will be 19.5 billion GEL. This year, tax revenues will grow by 720 million GEL compared to the original plan.
The 2021 budget deficit will decrease from 7.5% to 6.9%, while the volume of public debt will be down from 60% to 54.6%.
