Part of oil companies have already paid the imposed fines to the Competition Agency. As of the 7 months of the year, 2 273 995 GEL of the due 3 mln GEL have already been paid to the budget.
It is not known specifically which companies paid the Competition Agency fines.
As BM.ge was told at the Competition Agency, none of the companies has protested against their decision to reduce the fines from 55 mln GEL to 3 mln GEL. The fine payment process is ongoing.
Note: in July 2015, the Competition Agency imposed fines of 55 mln GEL total on the companies operating on fuel market.
