Georgia’s western Kutaisi International Airport served 59,033 passengers in April, marking 87% recovery from the pre-pandemic figure from 2019, - according to the United Airports of Georgia.
The company also said a “positive dynamic” was observed in the number of flights, noting in April the airport had resumed 110% of flights and served 240 operations, compared to the 219 flights from the same period of 2019.
Five airline companies are currently operating 25 connections to 14 countries from the Airport, the company said.
