We need to improve the perception of Georgia within EU institutions, as well as in 27 member states, EU Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczynski said. According to him, work in progress relating to the implementation of the 12 priorities, a lot has been already achieved and I want to congratulate the government on many reforms, many decisions that have been already taken, but other decisions are still pending.
“Last year, when European leaders decided to grant Georgia European perspective, they also agreed on 12 priorities, 12 issues where Georgia should increase reforms.
This is work in progress. A lot has been already achieved and I want to congratulate the government on many reforms, many decisions that have been already taken, but other decisions are still pending. And we sincerely hope to see progress.
And we hope that as much progress will be achieved on the implementation of 12 priorities as possible. At the same time, we also need positive, constructive news coming out of Georgia. We need to improve the perception of Georgia within EU institutions, as well as in 27 Member states. This is our common goal. And on our side, we will try to work together with Georgian authorities and support the government in order to create a very positive atmosphere based on the implementation of 12 priorities, as well as based on overall perception of Georgia”, said the Ambassador.
