LLC Philip Morris Georgia encouraged employees to work remotely as a precaution against the rapidly-spreading disease- novel coronavirus, known as COVID 19.
Following the international guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization, From March 13, 2020, Employees of Philip Morris Georgia will work from home, field force will stop field visits. PMG has also restricted all non-essential business travel to keep the virus from spreading.
“ALWAYS our priority has been to protect the health and safety of our people. For this reason we have implemented measures aimed at reducing our colleagues’ exposure to the risk of infection. There is still much unknown about this virus, and our people's safety and well-being remains our utmost priority.
With this in mind, and considering the increasing confirmed cases of corona virus in Georgia, we have asked our employees to start working remotely and will take further actions based on the development of the situation in the country”- says Yuriy Gordok, General Manager Caucasus & Moldova for Philip Morris International.
