Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili appoints new Ministers of Finance and Justice. According to the PM, Lasha Khutsishvili is appointed as the Minister of Finance, while Rati Bregadze will be the Minister of Justice. Until now, Bregadze was the Deputy Minister of Defense.
As for Lasha Khutsishvili, he used to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.
The post of Finance Minister became vacant after Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani resigned on March 31.
Machavariani posted the statement about his resignation on social network. Machavariani did not name the reason for his resignation, but explained that he was planning to leave the post at the end of last year.
