Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Paddy Padmanathan, President/CEO of ACWA Power.
At the meeting in Davos, investment opportunities and prospective energy partnership projects were discussed.
The Prime Minister invited the company’s representatives to Georgia, further to familiarize themselves with the country’s business environment and resources.
ACWA Power is a private developer of electric power which is also developing the first large-scale green hydrogen project in the world. The company is headquartered in Saudi Arabia. The company employs over 3,500 people, and its portfolio consists of assets with an investment value of over USD 75 billion in 13 countries of the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia.
