Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met Hani Weiss, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Retail and discussed company's ongoing investments in Georgia.
They discussed the increase of holding portfolios in Georgia and the diversification of existing investments.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of investing in hotels and real estate.
According to the Prime Minister, Majid Al Futtaim Group is successfully operating in Georgia, and in case of increasing the existing portfolio, the holding will have the support of the Georgian government.
Majid Al Futtaim is a United Arab Emirates holding company that owns and operates shopping centers and leisure facilities in 17 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The holding employs 43,000 people.
