I would like to comment on yesterday's agreement signed by the Minister of Economy Natia Turnava with one of the largest Austrian companies OMV Petrom, which entered Georgia, - Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at the government meeting.
According to the head of the government, the interest of the Austrian company to start gas exploration works in Georgia reaffirms that the country has a good business environment.
"As you know, we signed a contract yesterday, which provides start of oil and gas exploration works in Georgia. I would like to mention once again, that the entry of OMV Petrom reaffirms that Georgia has a good business environment," Irakli Gharibashvili said.
