Maia Tskitishvili, the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure notes, that the policy of point restrictions will continue until the virus is completely overcome.

According to the First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the policy of point restrictions is not just an invention of Georgia, it is a global approach and the whole world uses it to make less harm to the country.

“We think that we must take targeted and correct measures to stop the spread of the virus and make less damage to the economy. The policy of point restrictions will continue until the virus is completely overcome," Maia Tskitishvili said.

According to her, all restrictions will be lifted from February 1 based on the existed epidemiological condition in the country.

"We understand that the business wants to remove the restrictions completely, but we must think about the balance that we have to keep between the removal of the restrictions and the epidemic condition. We must also protect the interests of citizens, along with the businesses, whose interest is to maintain the health and not only to go for shopping,"- said Maia Tskitishvili.
