Georgian dried fruit and fruit leather producer Pomona is reporting growing demand for its products, with sales increasing by around 20–30% annually. The company’s founder, Mariam Tatishvili, told BM.GE that consumer interest in healthy and natural products has been rising in recent years, supporting the company’s sales growth.
“Demand and interest in healthy products are definitely increasing in Georgia, and our sales figures reflect this. We are seeing annual growth of 20–30%. Our products are 100% natural and contain no preservatives or added sugar,” Tatishvili said.
Pomona has been operating in the Georgian market for four years. The company produces dried fruit and fruit leather, focusing on natural products without added preservatives or sugar.
The company’s production facility is located in Mukhrani, in the Mtskheta municipality. Pomona’s reported sales growth comes amid increasing consumer interest in healthier and more natural food products.
