"The first and most important location is capital city of Tbilisi. We are looking forward to the creation of new projects in Tbilisi and for this, we are conducting very close negotiations with some private owners and the government. We are discussing all the possibilities, disadvantages and advantages of being in the central part of the capital city, or - in the suburb. So, Tbilisi is the first on the list of priorities.

Also, Georgia is a good country for skiing. This is part of our strategic plan, people living in the Middle East region, want to ski and enjoy winter resorts, so we prepare ourselves for the winter resorts as well. In addition, we have a focus on other cities, including, Kobuleti and Kutaisi," Varshalomidze says.

As for Pontus Rotana Resort & Spa Gonio, 9 floors of the hotel are already constructed. As Nika Bolkvadze, the managing director of "Pontus" told BMGTV, construction of two floors is planned per month. Therefore, the construction part is planned to be completed in 12 months.

"Two floors are built within a month and we keep this pace. Therefore, in 12 months, the construction part will be fully completed, and only interior works will remain," says Bolkvadze.

A 5-star hotel Pontus Rotana Resort & Spa Gonio is being built in Gonio, which will be the largest hotel on the Black Sea coast. The management of the hotel project is carried out by the Rotana brand with an international reputation, and its exclusive partner is the Georgian development company "Pontus Development".
