Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with Poland’s Foreign Minister, Zbigniew Rau, at Orbelian Palace.
According to the President’s administration, the meeting discussed Georgia’s ongoing accession process to the European Union. It also discussed the necessity of Poland’s strong support in this regard.
“The meeting noted that Georgia’s European integration is the unwavering choice of the Georgian people. The President commended Poland for its consistent support for Georgia’s European membership, which is also geopolitically significant for Europe. The conversation touched on regional security challenges and the importance of Black Sea security. It also touched on the ongoing war in Ukraine and Georgia’s occupied territories,” the administration stated.
