President of the Georgian American University Michael Cowgill's announcement:
"The Georgian American University respects and supports the fundamental right of every student, professor, and staff member to freedom of speech and peaceful protest. Rooted in universally recognized values, we believe that any form of bullying, violence, or coercion due to personal positions is unacceptable from all sides.
Political discrimination or any other form of discrimination is categorically unacceptable. Our 20-year history stands as a testament to this. We recognize the significance of current processes, and accordingly, students involved in peaceful protests will have the opportunity to resume lectures. For those continuing their studies, the university ensures the uninterrupted management of the academic process so that everyone's constitutional rights are protected.
We stand firm on the path of Georgia's integration into Europe, and through our activities, we will do everything for the country's Western future."
