Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili addressed the third summit of the Crimea Platform on 23 August. She reaffirmed support for Ukraine and stated her conviction that Ukraine "will fully emerge victorious from this barbaric war" and "regain its territories".
"Ukraine has already to a great extent and will fully emerge victorious from this barbaric war, regain its territories, and become a pillar of tomorrow's secure and prosperous Europe. Georgia will be with you then as it is now," President said.
The Crimea Platform is a Ukrainian diplomatic initiative founded on August 23, 2021 and aimed at strengthening international coordination efforts against Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea. In light of Russia’s invasion of the country, it took place online this year.
